Privacy Policy
WarrantyDesk is currently in early access — we're building a warranty certificate and verification tool for installers, and taking waitlist sign-ups ahead of launch. This policy explains what we collect from you today, at this pre-launch stage, and how we handle it.

Who we are
WarrantyDesk is a pre-launch product. There is no live certificate-issuing service yet — right now we're only collecting sign-ups for early access. This policy will be updated once the product itself goes live.
Information we collect
Three things: (1) the email address you give us on the founding sign-up form, so we can add you to the waitlist; (2) our own product analytics events — things like viewing the pricing section, clicking a call-to-action, or submitting the sign-up form — which include the page path and, where present, UTM parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term) and the referring page. We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party analytics tool; this tracking is our own, built into the site. (3) If Google Ads conversion tracking is switched on for this site, a small tag (gtag) sets a cookie to measure ad performance. This tag only loads when we've configured it, and it is never present otherwise.
Cookie choices
We show a cookie banner offering a choice about optional Google Ads performance-measurement cookies — nothing is set until you accept or decline, and declining does not restrict anything else on the site. You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie choices" link in the footer.
Why we collect it, and our legal basis
We collect your email on the basis of your consent — you give it to us by submitting the founding form, and you can withdraw that consent at any time. We rely on legitimate interest to run our own analytics events and to measure advertising performance, because understanding which pages and campaigns work helps us build a product installers actually want, and this doesn't involve tracking you across other sites.
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored in Supabase, hosted in the London / EU region. We keep your data in the UK/EU rather than routing it elsewhere.
Sharing your data
We do not sell your personal data to anyone, full stop. We use a small number of processors to run the waitlist and analytics (our hosting and database provider, and — if configured — Google for ad conversion measurement), and nobody else gets access to your email address.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist and analytics data until we decide whether to launch the full product, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. If we do launch, we'll be in touch about what happens to your data next and update this policy accordingly.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access the data we hold on you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to how we use it, request that it be transferred to you in a portable format, and withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these, just email us — see Contact below.
